Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik’s “spider web of hate” was revealed today by the Guardian newspaper. The Guardian says it has analyzed the websites Breivik linked to in his manifesto, and those websites which linked to it. The interactive map, with nodes showing links between websites, is comprehensive — perhaps too much so.

Breivik’s contacts
The Telegraph says that it has obtained the list of more than 1,000 email addresses that Anders Breivik sent his manifesto to prior to terrorizing Oslo on Friday. Breivik, the terrorist responsible for the deaths of more than 70 people last week in Norway (mostly children and young people) sent his manifesto to 250 contacts in Britain. According to the Telegraph,
“Three addresses include reference to the British National Party, while one is addressed to Combat 18, the neo-Nazi organisation. Individuals linked to the EDL are also included.”
And that,
Standing with the people of Norway
Yesterday, the worst atrocity was inflicted on Norway since World War II. According to the Mirror, the death toll is at 98. Most of these are children and young adults that were gunned down the island of Utoya. Many others are seriously wounded. The blast, which rocked the center of Oslo, was so powerful it blew windows out of buildings for a kilometer. Britain’s Foreign Secretary William Hague has rightly described the terrorist acts as “horrific,” and Nato Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has described the atrocity as a “heinous act.”
I, like many people, assumed that the perpetrator(s) of such criminality would be al-Qaeda ffiliates, or Islamist terrorists inspired by al-Qaeda. However, a 32 year-old Norwegian native, Anders Behring Breivik, has been arrested in connection with the attacks, and is now being questioned.
As the Telegraph notes, Mr Breivik described himself on his faceBook page (now deleted) as a Christian and a conservative, and lists his interestes as hunting, body building and freemasonry. Police chief Svinung Sponheim said that his internet postings suggested he has, “some political traits directed toward the right, and anti-Muslim views.”
Regarding Freemasonry, Dagbladet also says that, “The alleged perpetrator is a member of the John lodge St. Olaus TD Three pillars of the Norwegian Masonic Order. He has 3 degree status, where the peak is ten degrees.” Freemasonry is a fraternity that believes in the brotherhood of man. In most countries membership is open to men of all faiths, including of Islam. However, Freemasonry in some Nordic countries is considered to be a Christian club. That might be the case in Norway.
A number of blogs suggest that Mr. Breivik is the blogger Fjordman, who is/was a prolific writer, and a contributer to several blogs including Gates of Vienna, The Brussels Journal, and Atlas Shrugs, where he wrote against multiculturalism and Islam/Islamism.
Whoever Mr. Breivik is, if he is guilty of the attacks on civilians in Oslo — and on the people of Norway — yesterday, he has revealed himself to be a calous, sick, and evil individual.
